Claire has been passionate about all aspects of The Arts for all of her 24 years. Currently residing in Bendigo, Victoria (and often escaping to the surf coast) she practises her skills as a Domestsic Goddess whilst raising a pre-school aged child and doing volunteer work on Bendigo's' only non-affiliated street press Spectrum. Claire writes, rants, designs, reviews and photographs local and national gigs, events, artists, musos and all kinds of social misfits. Never found without her digital camera, Claire is a dedicated supporter of local bands and spends many weekends at local pubs hooking up interviews and taking happy snaps for both the bands' personal use and for Spectrum.
She has recently scored a job with the celebrated Geelong-based magazine Forte. You can check out Claire's scene photography in Forte which is published fortnightly and available in Geelong, Bendigo, Warnambool, Ballarat and all along the Victorian surf coast. Claire has loved to write ever since she could do the alphabet and used to lock herself in her room as a moody teenager with her copy of The Complete Works of Shakespeare tucked safely under her arm. Claire is also a wannabe lounge singer, is an MC at weddings, a regular volunteer for the Cultural Development & Events Dept. for the local Arts Council, loves journalism, zines, the music industry and runs drama workshops for VCE students. And she also enjoys partaking in the odd beer.
